Festilotte en lumière

At FaunENord, a winter tradition was born in 2017 with the first edition of Festilotte en lumière.
This ice fishing festival is held on Gilman lake towards the end of March, and rests on the following values:
- Cooperation of local and regional actors;
- Learning and sharing of knowledge;
- Environmental respect and sustainability of resources;
- Joy of fishing in family.

Day camp

A summer tradition since 2012, the FaunENord Day Camp allows primary school children to experience nature for a week through various activities, supervised by FaunENord's outstanding team of animators.

Specialized training

FaunENord occasionally offers various specialized training courses in response to a growing demand from the population. Our training sessions are of varying length and are designed to help you better understand different elements directly or indirectly related to our natural environments and to help you develop new skills that can be useful to you, both professionally and personally.

Intergenerational community gardens

Located in front of the Town Hall of Chibougamau, the community garden is a haven of peace and agriculture in the heart of the city. Open to all residents, regardless of their level of gardening experience, the garden offers plots of land, as well as raised bins, allowing people of all ages to indulge in this hobby.
